Infrared saunas help relieve inflammation by increasing blood circulation and allowing the penetrating infrared heat to relax muscles and carry off metabolic waste products, while delivering oxygen-rich blood to the muscles for a faster recovery.

What is Infrared Sauna therapy?

Infrared light is necessary for all living things to grow and flourish. Infrared light is a part of the sun’s invisible spectrum of light that has the ability to penetrate the human tissue. Infrared heat heats the body directly rather than simply the air. The experience of an infrared treatment is similar to sunbathing, giving you that wonderful natural warmth. Unlike sunbathing, infrared heat therapy is completely healthy and safe. You can relax in an infrared sauna and it will never cause your skin to burn. Infrared heat penetrates human tissue and cells producing a host of health benefits.

Infrared Sauna Therapy is 7x more effective than a traditional sauna, and is effective at a low, soothing temperature. To deliver health benefits like anti-aging, weight loss, and detoxification, saunas need to emit high concentrations of infrared waves—not just heat. For infrared therapy to be successful, heaters must have a high emissivity level for the body to absorb infrared energy

Why is a Core Temperature Study so important?

It shows clinically how effective an infrared sauna will be at therapeutic healing. You want your core temperature to raise 3 degrees in 30 minutes, which is like creating a false fever to regenerate old cells into new cells. This is the secret to providing true therapeutic health benefits from an infrared sauna. If a core temperature study cannot be produced, then that is a red flag, or if the study doesn’t show a rise of 3 degrees in 30 minutes, then the therapeutic health benefits could be lacking. (Most saunas require you to sit in a cabin for 40-60 minutes, because the sauna doesn’t increase your core temperature to a therapeutic range for healing, detoxing, and sweating)

How often should I use the sauna?

One session will leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. But similar to exercise, the more you do it, the better the results. Recommended use depends on your overall health goals, and your individual situation, but overall 3-4 times per week for 30 minutes is ideal.

When will I start sweating?

Sweat levels differentiate between each individual. Don’t be surprised if you don’t sweat during the first few sessions. Sweating will increase with regular use. Even if your body is not drenched in sweat, your body is still detoxifying from harmful toxins. Also, be sure to drink plenty of water before your session. If you are dehydrated, you will not sweat as much. If you are hydrated properly, you will sweat more.

What do I wear?

To enable infrared to penetrate tissues as deep as possible, we recommend wearing a swimsuit, or gym shorts and T-shirt or tank all are great options.

What are the EMF levels?  Are they safe?

Yes. The units come to us with zero EMF waves. This prevents wifi from creating unnecessary and unhealthy EMF waves with each sauna. The carbon panels are 100% quality controlled to ensure the safety & effectiveness of each individual heater.
